Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) were originally designed for use in the Oil and Gas Industries on offshore platforms. Over the past 25 years, ROVs have evolved to allow for work and inspections to not only be done offshore in large, open areas but also to be performed on smaller infrastructure such as the piping and tanks necessary for onshore transport and storage. Hibbard Inshore operates a fleet of ROVs that cover this range of work and inspections that that larger, traditional ROVs cannot due to their physical size or cost constraints. Channel crossing inspections, internal pipe inspections of non-piggable lines, and subsea line evaluations are a few of the services we can provide. Hibbard Inshore is able to deliver high resolution video, imaging sonar, and ultrasonic thickness gauging among other sensor technologies both internally and externally for your infrastructure.
The wide range of swimming and crawling vehicles in our fleet includes swimming ROVs capable to depths of 2,000 meters and crawling vehicles capable of linear runs up to 7,500 feet. If you are in the Oil and Gas industry and you have piping inspection needs or are looking to supplement your ROV capabilities with smaller vehicles for inspection and light work, please contact Hibbard Inshore. For further information on our fleet of vehicles, our sensors, and our tooling capabilities, please see the Technology section of this website.
